Mynt Retreat is family owned and centrally located 5 minutes from the airport and town center.
Our beautifully renovated retreat was originally built in 1959 and lovingly restored in 2011.
We have six bedrooms on two levels and the rooms are named after main towns in Morocco, after a life
changing visit to this beautiful country in 2008, by one of the owners.
At Mynt Retreat we offer excellent service, warm vibes and a 420 and mushroom friendly atmosphere.
There is a marijuana dispensary and vape shop on property where mushroom products are also
available.
Throughout the property there are many areas and recesses to enjoy. Our “Garden of Weeden”
(gardenofweedenjamaica.com) is a serene and popular area for our guests.
The doctor birds put on a
show when they come to feed at their strategically placed feeders. The other species of birds alternately
claim whatever fruit is in season and happily partake.
Breakfast is served in the garden on request also.
Our intimate garden is also available for private small events and gatherings at a reasonable cost.
Our spa is fully functional and services are available by appointment only. Opening hours are between
10:00am and 6:00pm. Menu is barcoded.
Our rooms consist of 3 standard rooms, on the ground floor with garden views and 3 deluxe rooms on
second floor.
Each room reflects a different feel, from the earthy tones of laid back towns to the vibrant greens and
blues of the paints used in ancient pottery factories in Fez.
At the top of the stairs to the second floor one is greeted with an expansive window with an
uninterrupted view of the most amazing sunsets , the bay, harbour and the Caribbean Sea.
This view is also available from the shared balcony and sun deck, with our pots of varied species of
bougainvillea and bamboo shoots, on the second floor.
